THE HAUNTED HYDRO
FEAR HAS LEFT THE BUILDING
Something is happening inside the Hydro. The old power plant has been sealed, its doors locked and its halls gone dark. But the Hydro hasn't gone quiet. Metal groans behind the walls. Dead systems hum without power. Voices echo through empty rooms, and something has been heard moving deep beneath the plant.
Long ago, a massive iron artery stretched from the river, through the woods and into the heart of the Hydro. Millions of gallons of water rushed through it, feeding the plant and turning the force of the river into electricity. At least, that's all it was supposed to carry.
People once walked its length beneath the trees, telling stories of footsteps following them, voices coming from inside the iron and figures standing near the water that vanished when approached. The artery is gone now. Whatever flowed through it may not be. The turbines stopped. The electricity went silent. The river kept moving. The current never dies.
Now the grounds are telling their own story. Those willing to enter will follow what remains of that current deep into the woods and decide for themselves what they believe. Spirits are said to wander beneath the trees. Abandoned structures have found new occupants. Outcasts, drifters, twisted souls and those who came here to disappear have claimed forgotten corners of the property. Some formed families. Others formed something closer to a religion. What they believe in, they don't talk about. What they're waiting for may be beneath your feet. And there are things deeper in the woods that don't belong among either the living or the dead.
The woods refuse to stay the same. Paths shift. Rooms appear and disappear. Familiar places change from one night to the next. The longer you remain on these grounds, the more the grounds seem to notice you. Voices become familiar. Shadows follow closer. Some have even heard their own voice calling to them from somewhere deeper in the darkness. Most find their way out. Some swear something followed them. Others return, but never quite the same.
No one agrees on what lives here. Some blame the river. Others believe generations of death have left something behind. There are even those who believe the Hydro wasn't only generating power. It was feeding something. Something beneath the ground that followed the water from the river, through the woods and into the heart of the plant.
Now something is growing behind the sealed walls of the Hydro.
And we're beginning to wonder if those doors were locked to keep us out...
or to keep something in.

⚠️ A Quick Heads-Up Before You Enter
At the Haunted Hydro, you’re stepping into a fully immersive haunted environment — complete with wooded trails, old industrial spaces, and high-intensity scenes. While we do offer an Extreme Experience (identified by white shirts) that involves direct contact, fake blood, and close interaction, regular patrons may occasionally come into indirect contact with these elements.
That means there’s a chance you could get a small amount of our washable fake blood, dirt, or other show materials on your clothing — usually from bumping into scenery, props, or other guests.
We strongly recommend not wearing nice or light-colored clothing, especially white shirts, as those are used to identify Extreme participants.
By purchasing a ticket and entering the attraction, you acknowledge that accidents can happen in this environment and that The Haunted Hydro is not responsible for damage, stains, or wear to clothing or personal items.
Use common sense, dress appropriately, and get ready for a wild night.. whether you’re going Extreme or just along for the ride.
